Last Post :'( Goodbye Canada

before i start this entry, i'd like to say a big thank you for following our journey, and i hope you've enjoyed reading about it as much as we have enjoyed being here...

I am going to miss Canada and the people in it, we have met so many nice people that we will never forget and we have been taught some great life lessons!, like Steff learning to be responsible, me learning not to worry as much. We have had our ups and downs (mainly ups) along the way and we have had great fun, the outcome of this is i am never going on holiday with steff for that amount of time AGAIN....nah i've loved every minute of it!!!!.....would i do it all again...YES!...highlights: kelowna first time round and white water rafting! and everything else..singing at the top of our voices to scare away bears...the scence musuem haha. The fear of walking through chinatown! and the greyhound bus journeys and seeing a baby bear....i have sent 24 hrs a day for 5 weeks with Steff and surprisingly she is still unharmed...could i spend another 5 weeks with her...yes! i have loved it...funny times! great times...i'm never gonna forget it..my facebook friends count has gone up bout ten yesssssss¬¬.Our plane hourney home is nine hours long and we land into edinurgh at like really early in the morning on thursday! im dying to see my proper friends again...=] and mum and dad =] we secretly missed them alo!!!! altho its like weve never been saway what with this facebook nonesnese haha!

for our last day we went to the beach! we went to the art gallery and took alook around vancouver city one last time. Our hearts broke as the realisation of we are not gonna be here again in a long while sunk over us...we will find it hard to leave! lets hope the journey home is stress free and relaxing haha naaaaa!!!!

Apples =]

Today Steff and I made a journey to the 'party place' in Vancouver, the place where anyone who is anybody wants to be...the music and the partying was still going on from yesterday celebrations and the street was a mess, full of cups and empty beer bottles everywhere and the streets were just full of drunks!, oh yes we were at Granville Street!, we went shopping for some gifts for ourselves and had a look around, everything was so expensive, Emily brought a jade buddha and steff brought a moose hat (see picture on facebook!), we felt good spending money on ourselves and not on basic supplies..a homeless guy came up to us and asked if he could have money to "get some cocaine and a whore", we were like Dude we don't have no money!!....we then headed back to the hostel, when we got there we realised we had left our keys in our room so we had to get the guy at the front desk to make us new keys and they didn't work so we asked him again and third time lucky......it still didn't work! so he had to open the door for us, it was really embrassing!..Steff decided to go and see some friends and Emily spent the remainider of the day reading her book on the top patio with some sweets and sunbathing! i did have lots of suncream on!! =) this is my second last post of the holiday....=(

Mike, Sun, Granville, FOOOTBALL

The streets were packed due to the football game...Spain against Netherlands!...the atmosphere was great, personally we never watched the football game but we loved just being in the midst of it all, watching all the drunk british and all the spainish shouting "england suck" when england wasn't even playing =S. We went to Granville Island to look around, it was an floating market on the sea, there was lots of delicous food, and strange things that we would never eat like pigs feet and monkey brains!, everyone was out, it was so hard to move about, and to listen to all the mayhem that football causes is so funny.

Emily accidently kicked a homeless person! which was not so good, good job Steff didn't see!. The music and the noise coming from everywhere really enthusized us, it was the time when we wished we loved football!, a kid blew a big trumet in our faces and took a photo of us!, which was so strange...Steff and i had to swap shoes again cause her feet were sore!...

On granville island we watched a british street performer perform magic, he was really good, and while we watched it we ate cherries..we felt sorry for the poor guy next to us, he was on the phone and the street performer went over to him and snatched the phone off him and went "oi mate do you know your disturbing my magic show!, everyone in the crowd say hey...oh by the way im gonna hang up!" into the mobile and switched it off and gave it back to the guy!, he was a real grump i'm telling you...the street performer then carried on..he said some funny things like "hey i'm british and i have clean teeth" it was like...what do canadians really think we are?!....

Steff and I then met up with Mike, he brought us coffee and we spoke and laughed, i really enjoyed myself....Steff went to the loo and i was smiling as i was talking to mike and he said
Mike: "what are you smiling at? have i got something on my face"
Em: Yes you do
Mike: What do i have on my face then?
Em: your beard

and he burst out laughing, Steff came back and said i was being cheeky but he found it funny, i really loved our evening spending time with him!...

Emily put lots of suncream on so she didn't get burnt!...

A guy was sitting on a post smiling at Emily, like he knew her and she couldn't remememeber where she had met him, she then realised she met him in kelowna in the second week of being in canada and she just passed him in the street on Granville Island wow the world is a small place!...

I think this has been the best holiday ever!!!, i will NEVER EVER forget it!, as its drawing to a close i really wish we could of stayed longer...Steff says if she stays here any longer she would become diabetic because there is so many cakes!....

we passed a buliding that said BIRKS on it so we decided to take a photo for the Birks family! =) cause we found it funny!

Steff was getting annoyed cause nobody was texting er due to the football, she then realised she doesn't mean that much to people! and she thought she did hahahaha! i awlays tell her 1.football 2.beer 3.girls! thats what guys think bout! haha...

Brownies! Old Faces! A Proper Breakfast!

Sorry about not blogging yesterday, i was so tired, i couldn't keep my eyes open!..

well yesterday we awoke at like 9.30 and went down to get some breakfast where we bumped into this lost puppy who was only sixteen and didn't know how to make pancakes or toast so Emily showed him, it was very funny to see him making pancakes and it was very entertaining! we still had two eggs left over from the meal we had the night before which was spagetti, tuna, and egg, with no sauce it was really dry and sticky. We then decided to make chocolate brownies (altho we never thought how we would tranport them to Vancouver...), everyone was jealous they all wanted them and Emily iced them with chocolate sauce and Steff went around putting chocolate sauce on peoples faces, i am suprised they never hit her!...the time came where we needed to set off for the greyhound bus..so we placed the chocolate brownies into a plastic bag (it looked like a bag of poo) and steff wouldn't put them in her bag as she said she didn't want to be stopped carrying a bag of poo!...so i carried them, they sweltered in my bag for six hours on the bus! ewww!, on the bus a woman sat next to me and said she was part english as her great grandparents came over from England and settled in Canada...it was rather interesting to hear her stories...when we arrived in Vancouver, we had an hours walk to get to the hostel, it was very easy but i imagined it to be harder than it was probably because i have been walking alot, we entered and there was free chocolate so we munched on that for a few hours as it has been five weeks since we have had proper chocolate..we then bumped into the moose tour we met in kelowna and a few guys from Lake Louise and a guy we met on our first time to Kelowna it was so freaky, it was like being reunited with old friends...we then went to our rooms and fell asleep..i rememeber falling asleep around 9pm cause i was so tired...we then awoke to a free breakfast of everything it was so great!!!!, my sunburn is really bad so i am gonna stay in the hostel as i can't move!

All that glitters is gold, only shooting stars break the mould!! (8)

Steff and I moved into room 210, last night and it was great to awake and be in the same room as her!...i felt really lonely and kinda paranoid in the other room!...we got ready and headed to the beach and spent the whole day..where we swam in the lake..it was awesome the weather is sooo hot its still 39C and its six aclock, and we are both sweating and its yicky but i feel better!, we went to subway for lunch and got a litre bottle of slush puppie each, very cool!, we then went for a walk!!!....today has been great! i really have enjoyed it..i was so embrassed on the beach a guy walked past and said "hows the water" i thought he was speaking to us as he looked like a guy from the hostel and so i replied and he gave me a dodgey look and laughed...obv he wasn't speaking to me!, this is our last day in Kelowna(YAAAAASSSSSSSSSS) before we head to the last stop in our journey which is Vancouver..time has flew by so fast!, ah we don't wanna leave!..i wanna leave Same Sun Hostel but i don't wanna leave Canada..our greyhound is at 11.00am tommorow!...woop!

"Hammocks!"

The people in my room must be so annoyed at them, me and steff are seperated into two different rooms...and i stood on this woman which i didn't mean 2, then i kept russling and this guy was like RAWR!, it was seriously so bad! so i awoke at 4.30am and went for a walk, i saw the sun rising and it was very pretty, then i went on the hammock till 7.30am, got breakfast and didn't see steff till around 3.30pm, i spent the day with Marc and Melaine, we went to the beach and went swimming!...it was awesome!, i met Toby one of steffs friends, they are away playing volleyballl but i can't play so i decided to stay here with Marc!....it is like 39*C! its totally hot hot!..melting! sunscreen! =) music ,its cool! =)....! Mel fell off the hammock, it was funny! =)....we stayed in the sun!! it was awesome and we moved room to room 210! later we are going swimming in the lake! =_

Here Again Back To The Days And I Remeber You Always =(

So here we are! again in the Same Sun Hostel! in Kelowna! i don't know how we ended up here but we did and nobody else is here!...its so weird i expected people to be here and now they aren't!....i wanted at least to see Mathieu again :/ hmfth!...well we are here cause Steff wants to see Toby! and stay in the sun! secretly its cause she wants to get drunk :L only kidding!...=( i am not happy bout not going to jasper and coming back here but its all cool!...really! i just don't see the need to be socialable! cause i miss everyone!!!!......=) well what can i say!...i should of voiced my opinion when i had the chance too!....=) me and Steff are in seperate rooms which is cool!...gives me a chance to be by myself! haha!....=) and i can hog the computer!...=)and i have the straighteners and the hair dryer serves her right for bringing me back to this place lol!....=)
